Obituary

GOODYEAR
Bride
February 20, 1956 - April 22, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bride Goodyear announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre on Thursday April 22, 2021.
She is predeceased by her husband Hayward Goodyear; parents James & Ann Bridgeman; brother Ron Bridgeman and sister Theresa Brown.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Jamie, Brandon (Deanna) both of Fort McMurray, AB.; brothers: Kevin (Annette) of Paradise, NL., Edward (Patsy) of Gander, NL. stepsons: Kenny Goodyear (Cora) of Fort McMurray AB., Keith Goodyear of Edmonton, AB.; stepdaughter Karen Goodyear (Georgie) of Nova Scotia; grandchildren: Blake, Patrick; step grandchildren: Kenneth, Ben, Nickolas, Martina, Keegan, Robin, Lance, Paul.; nephews: Tristan, Alex, Joshua, Jeremy; nieces: Kelsey, Emma; brothers-in-law: Max Goodyear (Doreen), Ben Goodyear, Kevin Brown; sisters-in-law: Marilyn Goodyear Whalen (Kirk), Sharon Furlong and also extended relatives and friends.

Bride truly lived life to the fullest and never took one day for granted. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Nanny. She was a caring, loving, and truly wonderful person. She always loved adventure, traveling, all kinds of food, Sunshine, Camping, Christmas, and Butterflies. She always loved having a good time and a good laugh. She always provided comfort to anyone who needed it. But more than anything and all those things put together she loved her family and we loved her. She captured every moment on camera and cherished them in all of our memories. She never missed a wedding, birthday, christening, birth of grandchild, graduation, or any celebration in between that she could get to. She loved people, and she made friends wherever she went. She will be forever loved and never forgotten by her family and friends. Those we love donโ€™t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nurses and staff on the General Surgery Unit and at the Cancer Care Clinic at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre for their wonderful care and support.

In keeping with Bride' wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral service will take place at St Gabriel's Parish St. Brendan's on Monday April 26th at 11:00 with interment to the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Brides memory. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Stacey's Funeral Home Gander/Carmanville and to leave a message of condolence please visit our website at www.staceysfuneralhome.ca

Our most sincere condolences to Jamie, Brandon and all of Brideโ€™s family. Bride, Hayward, Jamie and Brandon were our neighbours for a few years in Fort McMurray. We have fond memories of our camping days out at Christina Lake, with campfires, fish fries and singalongs. You will indeed be forever missed. Remember us to Hayward. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Sincerely,
Sherry and Blair Bannerholt
