Obituary for Rosalind Gaye Ellsworth
Rosalind “Gaye” Ellsworth, nee Wheaton
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gaye. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. Gaye passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on May 27th, 2021 headed for her last adventure.
Pre-deceased by her father Jose Wheaton, brother Jack Wheaton, her father and mother in laws Elias and Myrtle Ellsworth.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her loving husband Cliff, her son Garett (Anita), her daughters Nola-Gale and Crystal (Jeff). Her pride and joys, her grandchildren Shelby, Gabrielle, Chelsea (Matt), Katelyn & Kendra (Twins), Carter and Chloe. Her one and only and very special great granddaughter little Claire.
Gaye also leaves behind her mother Francis Wheaton (nee Gale), her brothers and sisters, Harris (Kathleen), Linda (David), Una (Ford), Greta (Junior), Cyril (Stacey), Doris, Coreen (Everett). Her brother in laws, Laurance (Kathy), Eugene (Velma), Junior (Greta), Phillip (Kathy) and Jeff. Also, many nieces and nephews of whom she loved dearly, and a large circle of friends from all over the world.
Gaye’s passions were her kids, her husband and being on the move. Gaye loved her adventures with her family and friends, her wandering soul which took her to many places.
Rest in peace, forever loved, our gypsy.
Cremation has taken place, as per Gaye’s wishes. A memorial will be planned at a later date however, due to the pandemic restrictions, attendance will be by invitation only.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
