Obituary for Ann Sheppard

It is with great sadness that the family of Ann Sheppard announce her passing at James Paton Memorial Health Centre on Saturday, December 25th, 2021 in the presence of her loving family at the age of 82.
Ann was predeceased by her parents Edward and Mary White, her husband Garland Sheppard, brother Gordon White, sister-in-laws Mary White, Patricia White and Mavis White.
Left to mourn with loving memories are her sons Rick Sheppard (Tina Hedges) of Gander, Andre Sheppard (Wilma) of Bellville, ON; brothers Matthias White (Martina) of St. John’s, Kevin White of Chipman, AB; Louis White of Culls Harbour, sisters Kathleen O’Brien (Ron Owens) of Paradise, Patricia White of Leduc, AB; Yvonne Hann (Joseph) of Springdale, grandchildren Thomas Hedges, Tianna Sheppard, Michael Sheppard, Chase Sheppard, Stephen Sheppard, Reese Sheppard, special niece Karen Sheppard, very special friend Kay McArthur and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Ann was born and grew up in Culls Harbour. She started working at the Airport in Gander and then moved on to work at Sears, Albatross Hotel and then took in boarders for over 30 years. Garland was the love of her life. Garland, Albert and Bruce built a house on 65 McDonald where she lived up until her passing.
In keeping with Ann’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral service with visitation and interment will take place tentative in May, 2022.
