Obituary for Kathleen (Kay) Williams
Passed away suddenly at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander on Thursday, May 12th, 2022, Kathleen (Kay) Williams, age 77.
Predeceased by her husband Paul, parents Martin and Muriel Poirier, brother Bill, nephew Chris and brother-in-law Gene.
Left to mourn with loving memories are her son Marty (Honora) of Goose Bay, Labrador, grandchildren Shikara, Paul, Madison, Jack, Devon and Matthew, brothers Larry (Cathy) of Wabush, Labrador, Alex (Karen) of Portugal Cove, Pat (Wendy), Claude (Sue) , sisters Florence, Anne, Mary (Wilbert), all of Gander. Kay will be greatly missed as well by many nieces, nephews, special relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place.
Family will be accepting friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander on Sunday, May 15th from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Monday, May 16th at 11:00 A.M. from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay’s memory may be made to the Gander Cancer Centre, the Gander and Area SPCA or a charity of one’s choice.
