Passed away peacefully at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander on Sunday May 22, 2022 at 89 years of age, Raymond (Ray) George Diamond of Change Islands.
He was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Bessie Diamond; son Donald, brother Beniah & sister-in-law, Myrtle.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 58½ years, Betty; son Darren (DeeAnna); brother Harvey (Sophie); special nephew Craig Diamond; special neice Jennifer LeGrow (Mike); his beloved cat Rascal and a large number of family and friends.
Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday May 24th, 2022 at The Salvation Army Church, Change Islands from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 25th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Majors Barry and Donna Anstey with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Change Islands.
At the family's request, masks are required during visitation and the funeral service.
As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ray's memory to the Salvation Army Church, Change Islands.
