Obituary for Florence Pink

It is with great sadness that the family of Florence Selina Pink announce that she passed away peacefully at the James Patton Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 82.

Florence was Pre-deceased by her parents John and Bertha Warren, her step father Thomas Pittman, brother John Warren and her sister Sandra Brace.

Florence leaves behind, her loving husband of 62 years Edgar, Daughter Janice Moss (Dan), son Rod William, grandson Brian, sisters Suzanne Carlisle (Bernie), Jane Hernidge (Eric) Melita Prosser (Reg), and Brother Louis Warren (Joyce).

Florence spent over 50 years involved with the Girl Guides of Canada, over 30 years volunteering with the Kiwanis music festival, and volunteered at the hospital for many years, and she loved every minute of her time with these organizations. She had many friends who she loved and they loved her dearly. Florence was a faithful church goer who kept God and everyone around her in her heart everyday. She was an extremely positive person who loved life and enjoyed everything around her. She had many pets through out her life, dogs and cats and would love and care for them greatly.

You will be forever in our hearts and we will miss your smile and humor, love you always - Family.

Cremation has taken place.

Family will be accepting friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home on Thursday, July 21st from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Friday, July 22nd at 2:00 P.M. from St. Martin’s Anglican Cathedral. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence’s memory may be made to St. Martin’s Anglican Cathedral, Gander.
