Betty Joan (nee Crummey)
May 19, 1940 - August 13, 2022
Passed away on Saturday, August 13 at the Miller Centre, St. John’s, Betty Joan Pinsent (nee-Crummey).
Predeceased by her parents James and Ina Crummey (MBE), her son Brad (1979), daughters Barbara (1982) her twin sister (1964), infant baby (1965), sisters Vera, Agnes, Doris, Serena, Hilda, Blanche, June and Hazel, brother Angus.
Left to mourn with loving memories are her devoted son Bryan (Nancy), grandchildren Eric and Gavin, sister Eulah, Florida, USA; brother Roy, St. John’s, special nephew Wendell Corbett, Gander, 48 nieces and nephews (too many to name) and many dear friends.
Cremation has taken place.
Family will be accepting friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander on Friday, August 26th from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place at Stacey’s Funeral Home on Saturday, August 27th by invitation only. Interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty’s memory may be made to Cara House or the SPCA.
