May 12th, 1938 – August 31st, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Florence Piercey announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander on Wednesday August 31st, 2022 at the age of 84 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Harry; son Ronald; parents: John & Elsie Skinffington and brothers: Bob, Max, Gar and Alex.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Winston (Eileen), Kathy (Ray), Alex (Cecilia); grandchildren: Jason (Shelia), Joey (Erin), Deon, Nicole (Hedley); great grandchildren: Sydney, Lucas, Ethan, Abby, Alexis, Jake & Isaac; great great grandson Weston; her fur baby Triton and also a large circle of niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
Visitation will take place at the United Church, Benton on Saturday September 3rd, 2022 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday September 4th, 2022 there will be a family service at 4:30 p.m. The funeral service will take place from the United Church, Benton on Monday September 5th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. officiated by reverend Stephen Matthews with interment to follow at the Unitech Church Cemetery, Benton.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donation in Florence’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
