Obituary for Glenys Parsons-Tuff
Passed away peacefully at the James Paton Memorial Heath Centre on October 5th 2022 Glenys Parsons – Tuff age 60.
Glenys was born to Stewart and Elsie Parsons on April 9th 1962.
She grew up in Dover and in her late teens moved to Ontario where she married and had her daughter Christine. They then moved back to Dover NL where her son Robert was born. Glenys went on to pursue her passion of hair styling.
Later she returned to Ontario and met the love of her life Calvin and welcomed 2 beautiful grandchildren Emma and Lexi who owned her heart.
Glenys and Calvin shared a life together for 24 years and returned home to Newfoundland to enjoy their retirement.
She had a love of fashion and was rarely seen without her make-up or high heels.
Her love for others was felt from the very moment you met her and that love was returned. She had a heart as big as the moon and always went out of her way to help others .
Glenys is predeceased by her father Stewart and sister Christine.
She leaves to mourn with loving memories her husband Calvin, mother Elsie (Soloman), daughter Christine (Alan) Dewberry of Corbyville ON.; son Robert Baker (Lindsay Hills) of Oakville ON.; brothers Perry Parsons (Carol) of Dover NL., John Parsons (Michaela) of Dover NL., and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will take place on Tuesday, October 11th at 11:00 A.M. from the Salvation Army Church, Hare Bay.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Glenys's memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation,300 Prince Philip Dr. St. John's, NL. A1B 3V6
