LINDA DIAMOND

With deep sadness and sorrow, we announce the passing of Linda
Diamond, of Gander, Newfoundland, on October 8, 2022.

Linda’s life revolved around her family and friends. As soon as you
met her, you were welcomed with open arms and a kiss. She was a fine
cook and loved to bake for her loved ones. The cabin was her happy
place and she couldn’t wait to be there. She loved to laugh and carry
on and was always up for a game of cards. Before she retired, she
spent many years at Canadian Tire, where she made lifelong
friendships.

She was predeceased by her parents Duncan and Nellie Webb of Main
Point. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 52 years,
Ross, her adoring children Robert (Dana), Michelle (Wayne) and Tara
(Dave), precious grandchildren Devon and Jabez, siblings Beulah
(Gord), Christine (Clyde), Sandra (Geoff), Garry (Sharmane), Glen
(Shirley), Dennis (Barb), her angel, Karen, her nieces and nephews,
and her many friends, who she cherished.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by Stacey’s Funeral Home. The
family will be receiving visitors on Tuesday, October 11, from 2-4 and
7-9. Funeral services will be held at St. Martin’s Cathedral on
Wednesday, October 12 at 2pm.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the
Health Sciences Centre in St. John's and at the James Paton Memorial
Hospital in Gander for their extraordinary care and compassion. In
lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be
greatly appreciated.
