Obituary for Emma Marina Payne

November 19, 1940 – October 11, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emma Marina Payne announce her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at the age of 81 years.

She was predeceased by her parents John & Jane Coffin; brother Ives Coffin (Rosalie) and niece Jenna Coffin.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 59 years, John; daughter Germaine (Barry) Nichol of Botwood, NL; granddaughters: Katie (Joshua) of Dawson Creek, B.C., Chloe (Brock) of Botwood, NL., brothers: Pleman (Isabelle) Coffin, Allan (Joyce) Coffin, Claudius (Mona) Coffin, Gary (Joan) Coffin, Brian (Donna) Coffin; sisters: Deane (Harry) Jacobs, Mercedes (Wilson) Simms and also a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Family will be receiving friends at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wings Point, NL, on Friday October 14th, 2022 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday October 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Rogers Cove, NL.

As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Emma’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Gander & Area S.P.C.A.
