Obituary for Donelda Bouzane

It is with Great sadness we announce the passing of Donelda Bouzane, our loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on October 9th, 2022.

Donelda was predeceased by her parents Rexford and Margaret Bouzane, her husband William Bradley, siblings Jacinta & Sean and by her latest love Gary Willimus.

She is survived by her loving children Seanna Freake (Ford) and Bill Bradley, Her adoring grandchildren Megan (Steven) and William, Precious great grandchildren Jake & Ben, Her close knit beautiful siblings Leona, Josie (Tom), Mary (Bill), Barbara (Gord), Jean (Tom), Neil, Wayne (Darlene), Rick (Cora) and her many friends whom she cherished including a special lady Ginette.

Donelda’s life revolved around her family, and friends she considered family. She treasured her children, embracing every moment and especially loved her role as a Nan. She made friends where ever she went and as soon as you met her, you were welcomed with open arms and a smile that would make you feel right at home. Donelda was a great cook and enjoyed to host for her loved ones.

She was meticulous and extremely proud of her home and amazing garden. Each spring she was anxious to get her garden gloves on and spend days outside. Often her beautiful garden was talk of the town and people passing through would ask to view, there would be wedding picture requests, school events etc. Donelda loved to laugh and make sure everyone was having a good time. She was always up for a game of cards or the tradition of TV Bingo with family. Most of all she was known for her huge warm heart, always ready to lend an ear and shoulder no matter the time of day.

Donelda was loved by all who knew her, she will be dearly missed and Forever in our Hearts !

At her request, no service will be held.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander for their extraordinary care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
