Obituary for Diane Tuff
October 21 1947 – November 26 2022
Diane peacefully passed early on Saturday morning at the James Paton Memorial Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
She was predeceased by her parents Jessie & Meryle Dolan.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Wilfred Tuff; daughter Sandy (John), sons Gary and Kevin (Erika). Grandchildren Chelsea (Mitchell), Cody, Kaelan, Erika, Braden, & Hudson. Sisters Janice (Alex), Gail (Joe), & brother Larry.
Diane, originally from Ontario, first moved to Newfoundland for a job with airlines that was only supposed to last 6 months, when she met the love of her life, Wilf. They shared 52 loving years of marriage and happy memories.
She was a hard worker and a successful entrepreneur and businesswoman. She had a passion for sewing and had an incredible talent for making breathtaking quilts. She loved her family above all else and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Her favourite place and second home was the cabin on Gambo Pond, where she shared many happy memories with special friends Alf and Eva Jones.
She was a light in so many peoples lives, and her legacy will live on in her family.
The Family will be receiving friends at Stacey's Funeral Home , Gander on Wednesday November 30th 1:00 – 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The War Amps https://www.waramps.ca/
A celebration of life service will be held in the summer of 2023.
