Obituary for Ruth Johnson (Ralph)

Ruth Francis Johnson June 30 1953 - November 27 2022
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Francis Johnson at the age of 69 at Gander Memorial Hospital on November 27 2022.

Ruth was lovingly referred to as "Rudie" by her husband Jimmy Johnson, and Miss Daisy by many others. Ruth's favorite place was her cabin. She loved spending time there doing puzzles, cooking and baking.
Ruth had a passion for knitting and could create anything, often causing family squabbles over her famous vamps and boot socks. Ruth had her first trip off the island with her Husband Jim, stopping at every Walmart she saw along the way. Ruth also loved teaching her grandchildren how to knit and bake, always showing extreme patience. Ruth was a lover of all animals, Poncho being her baby for many years until his passing last year.

Predeceased by Her father Charlie Ralph, her mother Susie Ralph ( Baker), her sister Viola Toraville , her Brother Charlie Ralph and her baby brother Gerry.

Left to mourn with fond memories is the love of her life, her husband James ( Jimmy) Johnson, Her children Charis Johnson of Glenwood Newfoundland, Taylor Johnson of Clinton Ontario, Celeste Johnson ( Gregory) of Bridgetown Nova Scotia, and Robert Johnson of Kitchener Ontario. Her grandchildren Cassidy, Caden, Aven, Taryn, Shyla, Cameron, Khloe, Natalia and Ellie, her great grandchildren Jimmy and Emerlee, her siblings Diane ( Eric) Wall of Appleton Newfoundland, Helen ( Ed) Smith of Grand Falls- Windsor Newfoundland, Calvin ( Lynn) Ralph of Glenwood Newfoundland, Brenda ( Steve) Thompkins of Medicine Hat Alberta, Barbara ( Steven ) Jamison of New Brunswick, Claude ( Bessy) Ralph of Ontario, Bonnie Ralph of St John's Newfoundland, Susan ( Rowland) Balsom of Port Sanford, Sharon ( Herb) Coates of Grand Prairie Alberta, Paul ( Corina) of Wabush Labrador, Shawn ( Betty) Ralph of Hearts Content Newfoundland, and Laverne ( Betty) Ralph of Glenwood Newfoundland.
