April 22nd, 1953 – January 4th, 2023
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on January 4th, 2023 at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander.
He is predeceased by his parents John & Margaret Hynes; sisters: Mary and Genevieve; brothers: Leo and Gerard.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 46 years, Margaret; his daughters: Jennifer, Sherry (Sandy), Tracey; his grandchildren: Mark, Isabel, Alexa, Genevieve; brother Gerald (Marilyn); sister-in-law Stella (Ron); brothers-in-law: Bill (Bernadette), Pat (Sharlene), and also leaves a large circle of nieces, nephews, many extended family and friends.
Den loved all animals and could often be found in the woods, vegetable garden or doing odd jobs. He was a very caring, kind-hearted man who had a smile for every child he saw. Den was very loved and will be forever missed.
As per Den’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Gander & Area S.P.C.A, 36 McCurdy Drive, Gander, NL., A1V 1A2.
A celebration of life will take place on Friday January 6th, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. from Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander. Due to limited space, attendance is limited to close family and friends.
