Gregory Lester Whalen
November 13, 1955 - January 20, 2023
Gregory died at the James Paton Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family after a brave battle with cancer at the age of 67.
He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Louise Whalen, his brothers Edgar and Ford and sister Pricilla. Left with tender and loving memories is life partner of 43 years Norma, daughters Stephanie and Danielle and son Gregory Lucas and grandchildren Tyra, Brayden, Zachary, Tianna, Jesse, James, and CJ. Also left to mourn are his sisters Josephine (Howard), Emma, Shirley and his brothers Jack (Patsy), Bruce (Susan) and Morris (Lynn). Greg also leaves behind a large circle of friends.
He will be deeply missed.
Family would like to thank Dr. Paulus and all the nursing staff who helped Greg during his hospitalization.
In keeping with Greg’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial farewell will take place at a later date.
