January 4th, 1957 – March 18th, 2023
It is with great sadness that we, the family of the late Linda Gale Lush announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday March 18th, 2023.
After a short battle of pancreatic cancer, at 66 years of age she is now an angel. An angel that will watch over us. . . An angel who is OUR angel!
To her family, she was the ‘glue’ that held us together. Her large approach to life was shown in everything she took upon her. The energy in which she delivered herself was prideful and full of heart. Linda was a very generous soul whom would see no one without! Her heart was so eager to give and help. She was a best friend to MANY but most especially to her husband, children and grandchildren!
Along with the unconditional love for her family, Linda’s happy place was at the cabin where she & Bruce shared many memories and friendships prevailed!
Predeceased by Son ; Edwin Bruce Lush, Father; Robert Seaward, Mother; Jane (Toope) Seaward, Brothers; Clifford Seaward, Frank Seaward , Richard (Dick) Seaward, Sister in law; June Seaward.
Linda leaves to mourn her loving husband ; Bruce of 48 years , Daughter; Nancy ( Brian McKay ), Son; Tony, Granddaughters ; Chantal Dyke & (Myles Goodyear) , Sarah (Sergio Dimorfite), Meagan McKay & Brianna McKay. Grandsons; Andrew Dyke (Kaley Wheeler) , Matthew McKay . Great Grandsons; Sawyer Goodyear, Josiah Moore, Jeremiah Moore, Kaleb Kirkey, Great Grandaughters; Octavia Goodyear, Elsie McKay-Lemieux , Grace McKay, Ruth Moore. Siblings; Robert (Brenda Seward), Gerald (Dallas Seward), Daphne (Wayne Lilly), Patricia (Eric Boyd Lush) , sisters-in-law ; Josie Seaward & Ina Seaward, many Nieces & Nephews, Great Nieces & Nephews and a HUGE circle of friends.
We will love you forever and miss you greatly!!
In life, we loved you dearly. In death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one else will ever fill❤
The family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander on Wednesday March 22nd, 2023 from 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will take place on Thursday March 23rd, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from The Salvation Army Citadel, Gambo with interment to take place at a later date.
