It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Walter Scott Squires. He passed on March 27th, 2023 at the age of 72.

Walter is predeceased by his parents Stella and Lloyd Squires, step-dad Walter Porter, brothers Scott Porter and Eric Squires, daughter Angela Vivian and father-in-law Stanley Snow.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife Shirley Squires of 52 years. Wonderful son Darrell (Cindy), son-in-law Junior Vivian, grandchildren Donovan (Erika), Melanie (Reagan), great-grandchildren Jenna, Jaxon, brother Owen Porter (Pauline), sisters Pearl Leyte (Harry), Faith White, mother-in-law Maisie Snow and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Family will be accepting friends at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wing’s Point on Tuesday, March 28th from 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. and Wednesday, March 29th, from 10 A.M. – 9:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 30th at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Wing’s Point.

We will love you forever and miss you greatly.

In life, we loved you dearly. In death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one else will ever fill.
