Obituary for Violet Nippard

November 12th, 1939 – April 21st, 2023

It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Violet Dianna Mary Nippard on Friday April 21st, 2023.

She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Rodger Nippard; parents Kenneth & Olive Tulk; siblings: Gordon, Irene, Lucy, Loveless, Cecilia, Selby; grandson Dwayne; step children: Wesley and Maisie; step grandson Paul and roommate Mrs. Broderick.

Left to mourn are her children: Una (Terry), Yvonne (John), Noland (Renee), Humphrey (Lesa), Alvenia (Terry), Amanda (Eldon), 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, siblings Reginald (Melva), Winston (Shirley), Fred (Madeline), Norman (Kathleen), Garland (Catherine), Betty (Ralph), Juanita and also step children and families, plus her friends and staff at Golden Years Estate.

Violet & Rodger were married on January 23rd, 1962. The family started with 5 of his children in addition they had 6 together. Mom lived a wonderful life filled with love and laughter. She was known for her knitting and would spend hours knitting, napping and rocking in her chair. She spent 10 years at Golden Years Estate and will be missed for her kindheartedness, humor and always willing to lend a helping hand. She took part in the activities and loved putting together puzzles with other residence. We are very grateful for the care that was provided for her. Heaven has gained a angel but the world lost an amazing person that can never be replaced.

Family will be receiving friends at the Stoneville Pentecostal Tabernacle on Sunday April 23rd, 2023 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Monday April 24th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Robert Higgs with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Violet’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
