November 12, 1976 - May 6, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Janice Coles announce her passing at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Tuesday May 6, 2025 at the age of 48 years.

Predeceased by her grandparents Bernice and Norman Harvey, Cavelle and Roland Mercer, Baby Mercer and father-in-law Nelson Coles.

Left to mourn with loving memories are her husband Jason Coles, daughters Anastasia Bursey of Gander, Melody Coles of Carmanville, Mother Jane Harvey ,Stepfather Boyce Vivian ,

Father Douglas Mercer, Stepmother Jean Mercer , brother Paul Mercer of Medicine Hat, AB; step-brothers Zack (Emily Bowen) of St. John's, Dale Vivian, Marvin Vivian, step-sister Zoee (Matthew Bennett) of Paradise, grandchildren Aria, Mya, Nora Brown and a wide circle of extended family and friends.

Janice enjoyed the cabin, ice fishing, ski-dooing, diamond puzzles, spending time with her granddaughters, 20 years of being a paramedic and loved Tim Hortons tea. She was a very social person and had a sense of humor like no other person you would meet.

Family will be receiving friends at Stacey's Funeral Home, Carmanville on Saturday May 10, 2025 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday May 11, 2025 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral service will take place from The Salvation Army Church, Carmanville on Monday May 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Carmanville South.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Janice's memory may be made to The Cole's Family.
