Passed away at Lakeside Homes on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, Wilson West of Ladle Cove, NL.

Predeceased by his mom and dad Walter and Annie West, Uncle Carl West (Marion Feltham) and his nephew Robbie West, his brother in law Raymond Peddle, all of Ladle Cove and William Tulk of Aspen Cove. 

Leaving to mourn his wife of 26 years Evangeline (Coles), daughter Lori West (Sheldon Abbott), step daughters Carla Hill (Sheldon Hann), Jackie Hill (Joey Everard), grandsons Logan West, Alex Everard, Mark Everard and Jacob Hann.  His Brothers and Sisters Betty Tulk (William), Patsy Peddle (Raymond), Fred West, Robert (Bonnie Coles), his former wife Beryl Chaulk of Ladle Cove, many nieces, nephews and friends.  

Wilson was a man of laughter, which was the way he wanted to be remembered. He was loved by all who knew him for his great sense of humor. His love for trucking was the first thing you would know as soon as you met him. He was a proud trucker, but his love for his family outweighed all of that. He often told me stories of his life growing up in Ladle Cove, how much he loved his mom, his dad and his siblings. He beamed when he talked about his daughter Lori. He loved her beyond measure and was so proud to be her dad.

Rest easy my angel. You will be missed and loved until I see you again.

Cremation has taken place.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 3rd at 2:00 P.M. from the United Church, Ladle Cove.
