It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wilfred “Roy” Smart announce his passing at Lakeside Homes, Gander, on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the age of 74.
He was predeceased by his loving parents Samuel and Joyce Smart, baby brother smart, brother Brian Smart, Grandparents Harriett and Peter Keats, Laurier and Alice Smart.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his daughters Naomi Smart and Erica Smart of Fort McMurray, Brother Norman Smart (Patricia) of Glovertown, Sister Sherri-Lynn Bartlett of Glovertown and Grandchild Brodie Traverse of Fort McMurray.
In Keeping with Roy’s wishes, cremation has taken place, the family held a small private gathering and no funeral or burial will be held.
