Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes, Gander, following a beautiful life of family devotion, love and cherished memories, it is with profound sadness that we announce the  peaceful passing of Susannah Wilkins (Susie) aged 89 , on June 9, 2026. 

Predeceased by her devoted husband of 31 years, Samuel Wilkins; her beloved daughter Vickie Broderick ( Cyril )  her parents George and Ethel Winters, brothers  Roland (Ula Pritchett), Maxwell (Arlene Webster) and  Walter (Mary Stokes), Sisters  Verna (Hal Isnor),  Lena Rogers (Eric) and Brother in Law William Freake (Jessie). 

Leaving to mourn her precious memory; brother  George (Gloria), Sister Jessie and most cherished  granddaughter Samantha Broderick, devoted and very caring  Son in Law Cyril Broderick for whom the Winters Family expresses unbounded gratitude for taking care of Susie’s needs during the years of her residence at Lakeside Homes; sister-in-law Susie Stockley, as well as many nephews and nieces, extended family members and  countless  friends.

Susie was a born comic, with  quick and affable wit, a devoted Christian who brought joy to everyone she met with her lovable spirit and quick-witted sense of humour.

In like spirit, Family and its extended members was the centre of Susie’s life, bringing her joy and happiness as well as lots of laughter in all her visitations.

Cremation has taken place.

 A family gathering celebrating Susies like will take place at a later date.
