It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucy Newhook announce her passing at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Tuesday June 16, 2026 at the age of 87 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Gerry; parents Mike & Edith Reddy; brother Edward Reddy and brother-in-law Eric Sturge.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Tony (Trina) Newhook; daughter Judy (Mark) Foss; grandson Mitchell (Courtney), granddaughter Shelby Newhook; sister Winnie Sturge; brother Michael Reddy (Ivy) and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family will be accepting friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue, Gander on Thursday June 18, 2026 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday June 19, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. followed by cremation with interment to take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted of donation in Lucy’s memory may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society.
