In loving memory of Darryl Walsh.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Darryl Walsh.

Darryl was a former lifeguard and swimming instructor who spent most of his life doing what he loved most – being in the water. An avid swimmer, he could often be found enjoying a daily swim, and when he wasn’t in the pool, he was happily riding his electric bike and embracing all that life had to offer.

Darryl had a genuine love for life, a kind heart, and a deep devotion to his family and friends. His smile, sense of humor, and caring nature will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Predeceased by his loving parents, Rose and Aiden Walsh.

Darryl leaves behind a family who will cherish his memory forever; his brothers Keith (Veronica), Aiden (Karen), Paul (Helen) and Philip (Frances), his sisters Jennifer, Lisa (Andy), and Roxanne (Glenn); as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

A special mention of his dear friends Louise Johnson and Janet Langdon, whose friendship and support meant so much to Darryl throughout the years.

Though he is gone from our sight, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered every day.

A celebration of life will take place at Friend’s Lounge, Gander on Tuesday, June 30th from 3:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.

Interment will take place on September 18, 2026. Time to be announced.
