Gerald Holloway

April 11, 1944 - July 4,2026

Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander on July 4th at the age of 82.

Pre-deceased by loving parents Ralph and Winnie Holloway, sister Monica Holloway and great nephew Jason (JJ) Power.

Left with fond and loving memories are son Chris Holloway of St. John's, daughter Tracy Brown and husband Ryan of St. John's, brother Larry Holloway and wife Ruby of Gander, sister Donna Holloway of Twillingate, granddaughter Crystal, special dedicated friend Linda Atwood of Gander, as well as 3 neices, 2 great nephews and 2 great neices.

Gerry was born in Come by Chance, raised in Terra Nova, then moved to Gander with his family where he spent 30 years working as a barber.  He met many great people and enjoyed their conversations. 

He loved nature, wildlife and looked forward to his yearly moose hunting trips with his brother Larry where he used have birds eating out of his hand and on one trip befriended a fox.

In later years, he enjoyed spending time at his daughter and son-in-law's cabin.

He will be remembered for his quiet, gentle and loving personality.

Family will be accepting friends at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander, on Tuesday, July 7th from 12:00pm – 2:00pm with funeral service to follow.
