Carmel Rose White (1948 – 2026)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carmel Rose White, age 77, who passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, following a courageous journey with dementia.

Born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland, Carmel carried the true, resilient spirit of her home province.  She was an amazing mother and an extraordinary grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the absolute center of her world. She poured endless love onto them, ensuring they always knew they were deeply supported.Our hearts are completely broken by her passing. 

Though dementia clouded her final years, it could never erase her sharp edges, her fierce spirit, or the beautiful legacy she built. We find comfort only in knowing she is finally at peace, though the void her strong presence leaves behind can never be filled. She leaves behind a family who will forever miss her quiet wisdom, her feisty nature, and her comforting presence.

She is survived by her devoted children, Tara (Mitchell), and Jeffrey (Christine); and her cherished grandchildren, Emma, Ryan, Tyler, and Madisyn. She is also survived by her loving siblings, sisters Patricia, Elizabeth (John), brother Tony (Josee), as well as a large circle of extended family members who loved her dearly.

Cremation has taken place and, according to her wishes, there will be no funeral service.
