With a sad heart, we announce the passing of Clara Doreen Cross (née Spracklin). 'Nan' or 'Mom' to most who knew her. She passed peacefully on August 18, 2026 and leaves behind her loving husband of nearly 70 years, Jim Cross, her children: Lynn, Gary and Terry (Michele) and her brother Harold (Clara)
Clara has six grandchildren who love her and will miss her dearly: Stephanie (Gregor), Christopher, Allison, Steven (Samantha), Courtney and Keesha and a five great grandchildren: Aimee, Parker, Tori, Alice and Abigail.
Thank you to the staff of the orthopedic department of the James Paton Memorial Hospital. A special thanks to Dr. Christopher Dicks for his many years of wonderful, continuous care.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
