Calvin  Roland Leyte

May 17th ,1977- Sept 3rd ,2026

Calvin Leyte was born on May 17, 1977. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a dear son, brother, friend and co-worker on September 2, 2026. 

 Calvin was survived by his mother, Adelaide Hodder; brothers, Freddie and Max (Olive); sister Tina (Doug); several nieces and nephews and a large circle family and friends.

 He was predeceased by his father Calvin Torraville; stepfather Fred Leyte; grandparents, Llewellyn and Myrtle Hodder and many departed loved ones.

Calvin was kind hearted, hard-working, and always willing to help someone in need. He will be greatly missed by his family and by all who knew him.  He was deeply loved by all his family and friends, but most of all by our loving God. 

A special thank you to his best friend and co-worker, Ted Hall, who Calvin thought dearly of.
Also, a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and support during Calvin's brief stay there.

Cremation has taken place and as per Calvin's wishes there will be no funeral service.  His ashes will be placed with his beloved dog Katie whom Calvin loved and cherished.

During weekly calls with his mom, they would not say goodbye, but good night, I love you and talk to you later.  Mom will talk to you later and I love you, Calvin.  Until we meet again on the “Far Side Banks of Jordon.
