It is with heavy hearts that the family of devoted father, grandfather and educator William “Bill” Burry announces his sudden passing on September 24, 2016. Bill was born in Newtown, Bonavista Bay in 1933 to Laura and Clarence later becoming brother to Bonnie. It was there that he developed his great appreciation of nature and the water, which continued throughout his life. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart and Bailey, Mark, Blythe and Maeve will certainly miss their Poppy. Also mourning his loss are his brother-in-law Alfred (late sister Bonnie) Marsh and brother- and sister-in-law Roy and Alma Bailey, along with a large, much-loved group of extended family and friends.
