Condolence: Dear Shirley and all the Goldsworthy family, I am so sorry to hear of Ross’s passing.
I first met Ross when he worked with Eastern Provincial Airways back in the early seventies, and later I worked with him in the nineties for a couple of years.
The first time I heard him recite the “Rindercella and the Prandsome Hince” ( Cinderella) story was at a banquet and I darn near choked on some food or drink I was enjoying.
Ross was an amazing, talented man and yet such a humble person it almost sounds contradictory. I had some quiet conversations with him and he never once had any serious criticism or animosity toward anyone or anything, he took every day in stride – he just saw the world through a different lens. I guess that was one of the reasons he was so likeable and loveable.
Ross was one of those who could put a smile on your face with his humour , delivery and that unique voice of his,and make your whole day feel brighter.
It was just a little over two weeks ago I was telling a friend about “Ross Goldsworthy” and I haven’t seen Ross in twenty years. That was the kind of impression Ross left on me. He is a “Newfoundland Treasure”
I will always remember Ross. Again, my condolences.

Condolence: Dear Shirley and Family: I'm so sorry to hear of Ross's passing. He always had a way of making people feel special. Whenever mom and I were strolling, you both left us feeling a little lighter. I like to think she is part of his welcome wagon, and the fine chat continues. He will be greatly missed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
