To Geraldine’s beautiful children Keith, Toby and Stephanie, her dear and loving sister Pauline, and her treasured and faithful friend Sharon,
Like so many, we were devastated to hear of Geraldine’s passing. We can’t understand or know why something happens, but we do know that love and beautiful memories outlast the pain of grief. Time and those memories will do their part to bring you comfort. Geraldine was such a beautiful woman who lived her life with unfaltering grace, dignity and respect. We will always treasure the memory of her smile, her readiness to laugh and her kind and gentle ways ... always and forever a lady. Geraldine’s external beauty reached right down to the very core of her being. The pride and love she had for her children and grandchildren knew no bounds. Her closeness to and love for Pauline is something that only another twin could understand. The friendship and support she shared with so many friends, especially Sharon, was touching and inspiring. In the days, weeks and months ahead may you find comfort in the shared memories of Geraldine and from the words and deeds of others who – like yourselves – deeply and profoundly mourn Geraldine’s passing.
Surely John Milton had a woman like Geraldine in mind when he wrote: “Grace was in all her steps, Heav’n in her eye, in every gesture dignity and love.”
