Passed peacefully away at her daughter's home in Mount Pearl, surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, February 7th, 2016, Rhoda Eveleigh in her 88th year.
Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Rosie Hurley, husband Gordon Eveleigh, sisters Jean, Mary, Gertie, and Marrion, brothers Lee, Charles, and Nelson, step brothers Gordon and Edgar.
Left to mourn with loving memories are her sons Leo (Beverley) of Mount Pearl, NL, Rodney (Linda) of St. John's, NL, daughters Hazel (Wilfred) of Davidsville, NL, Elsie (Alfred) of Mount Pearl, NL, Nina (David) of Clarke's Head, NL, Maisie of Carmanville, NL; grandchildren Sheila, Wavey, Larry, Colin, Michelle, Anita, Trista, Brandon, Meleigh, Vanessa; great grandchildren Dillon, Lacey, Cynthia, Jeremy, Evan, Cassondra, Ashton, Noah, Shailey, Nathan, special friend Jennifer, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Resting at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wing's Point with visitation Thursday February 11th 8:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M, and Friday February 12th from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. Funeral service Friday February 12th at 2:00 P.M. . Interment Anglican Cemetery, Davidsville. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Rhoda's memory may be made to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
