Remembering Paula

Being a long time friend of Adele, Paula's daughter, I had the privilege of knowing paula as a second parent. She took us everywhere we went as children and teenagers. The road trips we took from Botwood to St.Johns 3 or 4 times a year is one great memory that really sticks out in my mind. No matter what the season was she always kept us happy with our road trips. They were so fun and eventful, she was the reason they were so great. She treated us like her own kids. There wasn't a moment that I didn't feel safe going somewhere with her. My parents knew that I was in good hands for the weekend no matter where we were going or what we were doing !! Many of my childhood and teenager year memories have Paula in them. She was an amazing person and I remember her as being the coolest parent !! She was also a great friend of my mom. I will remember her funny and sweet and kind personality. Her creativity inspired many people over the years with her amazing painting skills. She will never be forgotten.
