Winston Kenneth
December 20, 1942 – December 6, 2018

Passed away At Lakeside Homes, Gander on Thursday December 6, 2018 surrounded by his loving family, Winston Kenneth Reid age 75 years. He was predeceased by his parents Robert & Lilias Reid; in-laws Harold & Myrtle Slade; son-in-law Gilbert West; sister-in-law Marie Reid; brothers-in-law: Harvey Tiller, Lewis Alcock, Roland Slade, Clement Slade and nieces: Michelle and Deanne. He will be sadly missed by his wife Maude (Slade); daughters Sherry (Douglas Paul) of St. John’s, Joanne of Gander, Carla of Fort McMurray; grandchildren: Andrew and Laura Paul. Also leaving to mourn brothers Harvey (Betty), Terry (Ida), Alton, Bobby (Carol), Charlie (Darlene); sisters: Joyce, Vivian, Dorothy (Bob), Beth (Earl), Jacqueline (Leon), in-laws: Marjorie Mugford, Herman (Doreen) Slade, Wayne (Linda) Slade, Violet Slade, Rita Slade, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander on Saturday December 8, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Sunday December 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Martins Anglican Cathedral, Gander officiated by Reverend Brian Candow with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations in Winston’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. To Aunt Maude, Sherry, Joanne & Carla; We are very sorry for your loss. Uncle Winston was a very kind and wonderful man and he will be missed. I have happy memories of him singing and playing his guitar which was something I know he really enjoyed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
