Come on Ike we got work to do!

Many times when our three sons were growing up we went to visit Aunt Mabel,Uncle Randell, Sherri and Tanya. We were all treated like kings and queen. We loved to visit them and I believe they looked forward to our visits, especially at the cabin. Whatever the boys wanted Aunt Mabel and Uncle Randell tried their best to make it happen - Campfires, water skiing with Uncle Ted towing, swimming, trouting, campfires, barbecues, dancing with Aunt Mabel, planting flowers, and lots, lots more. There was always lots of fun and Randell always had a plan to get some work done while the Samways were visiting, especially when the boys got older. Isaac would say, "Randell, I didn't come out here to go to work" and Randell work laugh and make some funny comment. But the work usually got done. Uncle Randell taught the three boys many things and hard work was definitely one of them. Him and Mabel were like second parents to the boys and Sherrie and Tanya like sisters, even though the boys would sometimes wreck their bedrooms, I found out many years later. I know the boys cherish the memories with Aunt Mabel, Uncle Randell, Sherri and Tanya as will I, for as long as we live.
