Condolence From: Arlene & Mike Higgins
Condolence: (I posted a condolence early on, but it went missing from the website, so I am posting another one)
I met Morley’s wife Chris in 1977 when we were in College together. Chris & Morley asked me to be the Matron of honour in their wedding in 1982, and yes I was “honoured.” I remember having so much fun at their wedding! I even danced to Eric Clapton’s song Cocaine with my Father; whenever I hear that song, I always think fondly of that moment. Morley called my Dad “Skipper” which my Dad loved very much (I don’t think that Morley knew that though). Morley has gone on to that party in the sky with The “Skipper” (my Dad) and my Mom. I hope that they (in Newfie accent) “shows Morley a good time” when he arrives.
Morley will always be remembered, loved and missed by my family. He was a good family man, hard working and had the best stories and sense of humour EVER!
Chris, we are proud to call you and Morley our friends, and in our hearts Morley will be missed greatly, until we meet again, just not here but up above. XO
